It’s also why they think everyone can be replaced with AI: because they don’t actually know what’s going on at any level.

Definitely the latter! AI is valuable across a range of use cases but is nowhere near the broad-based utility the industry wants us to believe.

We need a universally agreed upon short term for what a Bluesky “tweet” is called. Anyone? All I’ve seen is “skeet” which, is simply a nonstarter.

Cool.

Quick question are these the same chatbots being forced upon us by Microsoft and Google et al that cannot perform basic computer tasks reliably?

This argument would make X the Data Controller- and publisher- of everything posted on the platform, liable under both GDPR and defamation laws in every country for every post.

This is a no-lose filing.
Elon Musk's legal filing in the InfoWars bankruptcy case is both batshit crazy and also what you'd expect. It asserts that X owns every account, can do whatever it wants with them, and can inject itself into legal proceedings that have nothing to do with Twitter

Others have noted it but I will too: The big reason Bluesky is so hot right now is that the people who add value to social media - the frequent posters in specific fields - are here now, talking to each other and creating the "spectator value" that draws users and attention.
