NEW | Greg Sharpe always found the right words to say.

No matter the circumstance, Sharpe always met the moment. So, the right words at this moment?

His own.

"Husker Nation, permission to shed a tear."

My column on Sharpie:

Amie Just: Greg Sharpe was a Hall of Fame broadcaster, but his legacy transcends sports
Those who know Greg Sharpe best know that, as talented as he was at radio play-by-play, he was an even better person, writes Amie Just.

NEW | You, Jack Hoffman, are a hero.

You didn't set out to be one, but because of your bravery, you've changed the world.

My column on Jack Hoffman and the legacy he leaves with
Team Jack + beyond:

Amie Just: Jack Hoffman didn't set out to be a hero, but he became our hero anyway
Not all heroes wear capes — some wear football helmets far too big for their 7-year-old heads. With courage and bravery, Jack Hoffman became our hero, writes Amie Just.

It’s not uncommon to see a car driving around Lincoln with expired in-transit tags. However, the one I saw today takes the cake - the tags expired in April of 2023! They’ve avoided licensing their car for almost 2 years now. 😡

Can’t think of a more fitting setting for Nebraska Football to return to a bowl game than a football game in a baseball stadium, that’s sponsored by a lawn mower company, taking place in a city where nobody has lawns to mow.

NEW | Andi Jackson resented the idea of playing volleyball — pouting on the way to her first club tryout.

Now at Nebraska, she's one of the sport's rising stars with goals to be the world's best middle blocker.

On Andi's Ascent:

Andi's Ascent: She didn't want to play volleyball. Now Andi Jackson is the sport's next best thing
At age 15, Andi Jackson begrudgingly tried volleyball — and jaws dropped. Now less than a decade later, she is a rarity, writes Amie Just.
