If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

The more I think about it, the stronger the sense that, when historians look back at what’s happening now, the J6 pardons and removal of security details of key individuals will loom very large. This is the moment where Trump consolidated the threat of unpunished violence against opponents.
