Comms for Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon. #YNWA
Vance and the rest of these ghouls simply hate most people in America (not the rich ones) and a lot of what's wrong with our politics snaps into focus when you recognize that fact.
Here he’s just admitting that his hillbilly elegy narrative was a lie and he despises people who do low wage work
JD Vance: "Democrats' idea was the way you get more prosperity is that you import more and more low wage servants."

There is something deeply broken about an economy that creates trillionaires while people get buried under the cost of living and 42 million go hungry. The ultra-rich should realize that my Billionaires Income Tax, aimed at ensuring they pay their fair share, represents the moderate path forward.

The fact that people are often surprised by the Nixon administration's legislative record is a sign of how far the modern Republican party has strayed from ever really trying to fix problems and improve people's lives. In 2025, Americans are shocked that a Republican president would okay this stuff.

Trump is leaving families to starve but communities are stepping up. That he’s trying to interfere proves Trump really just wants kids and families to go hungry. I just introduced a bill to protect stores that offer discounts to SNAP recipients if they choose to.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

"Cleaning up the prior Republican mess" has basically been the core responsibility foisted on Democrats for several decades and electoral cycles.
Congrats to everyone who put Republicans in charge "for the economy," the first three quarters of 2025 already had more layoffs than any of the years in which Biden or Obama was President except 2009 (when Dems were still cleaning up the prior Republican mess).

It's true. Bessent owns a massive farm worth several million dollars that spands thousands of acres across five counties in North Dakota, and any deal the administration strikes to sell more soybeans to China could very well enrich him personally.
Bessent on American farmers being hurt by tariffs: "Martha, in case you don't know it, I'm actually a soybean farmer, so I have felt this pain too."

It's unforgivable that we're a decade into Trump constantly lying and abusing his power and so many mainstream media outlets still appear uninterested in indicating to their readers when Trump is acting in bad faith.
Even though it’s bullshit the media is running COMEY INDICTED headlines which is how Republicans win messaging every time. They’re hoping most people won’t know the difference between this and a real indictment and the media helps them by not plainly saying “Trump Forces DOJ To Indict” in a headline

The thing is, these guys hate America and Americans, and a lot of what they do and say snaps into focus when you remember that.
