SEO has always been more than just Google Search.
But could this be because of it impacting the specific Google Environment and not all businesses are e-commerce (products) as such those other spheres are irrelevant?
Also isn't the media the ones losing out to AI search and thus shouting about it

This was a great read, I personally feel it's easier to create a connection with someone face to face than over the screen
Also there are too many distractions (popups, notifications etc), that can draw attention/concentration away online.

@johnmcalpin.bsky.social this is a great study. One question in relation to when Google changed the titles from the original one for example "Best Protein Powder" was there any correlation to existing H1,H2 on the page for Google to reference?

Nice article @simoncox.com - for my sanity I stopped tacking KWs (a previous manager made me really fear every KW drop - no matter how much. Even after leaving that company I was haunted by it).
Now I "mainly" track visibility and it's a lot sunnier and my sanity thanks me for it 😅
