“We have to live with this or die for it.” 2025 05 27 Saul Williams at the Blue Note, NYC. A musical-poetic-conversational performance entirely rooted in present-day reality. Through Wednesday night.

we don’t need climate action just for future generations, we need it now.

Thanks to The Tonearm for highlighting our album The Apprentice to the Surgeon of the Nightsky in their 2025 essential listening collection.

The record is my electric cello & trumpet collaboration with Vincent Curson Smith to create new Fourth World music following in the footsteps of Jon Hassell.
A new drop from The Tonearm's Needle Drops series: free jazz meets mysticism, Fourth World aesthetics find new disciples, and forgotten shoegaze gets its due. Welcome to 2025's inaugural collection of today's essential listening:

Anybody know any kids in New York City learning French? We have about 150 magazines for elementary and middle school aged kids that we'd like to give away. This collection was challenging to get, over several years. Now our kids are grown. It would be a shame to just put these in recycling!
