it looks like the Greens are doing better in seats they didn't target, which is interesting. Like 2010, this was an election with an underwhelming first-term Labor govt where Greens should've been able to exploit the desire for something better.

I say this because realistically, the groups of people ordering UberEats habitually now were not cooking for themselves 10 years ago, they were just heating up a meal.

If the Liberals get to decide what becomes law, who’s really in government?

Labor hasn’t had a majority in the Senate in living memory. How is the government meant to function if the Prime Minister’s personal vendetta prevents ever getting something across the line without Opposition support?

Isn't the problem with the strategy for Labor that it ends up being an argument for swing voters to vote Liberal to avoid continuing to be "blocked" - so if they run it to Election Day it will hurt them overall?

The Voluntary Assisted Dying laws here in Victoria haven't been expanded in 5 years of operation and there is no serious push to change that.
