Materialists was great, but ignore all those and go see "Sorry, Baby". A fantastic first feature - poignant, moving, and funny. I found the tone perfect @kermodemovie.bsky.social (you were unsure I think), and loved the symbolism of windows/doors throughout. One of the best films this year so far.

But also - they're clearly paying a lot for those places - I mean, did you see the inside the pad of Helen Mirren's character? I doubt a property developer would make any more from that place than they're getting now! I didn't buy it at all.

It worries me that protesting genocide is now basically illegal. This is becoming a police state (if it's not already).
