I am an old lady. I don't remember the Cuban Missile Crisis, though I was already a toddler when it happened. I think the Doomsday Clock is closer to midnight now than it has ever been in my lifetime.

Devastated to learn that as of March 31 my pension fund, CalSTRS, owns $2 million of Trump Media, parent company to Truth Social. It might not be much in a $350 billion portfolio, but why would a teachers' pension fund invest in an anti-education social media platform?
