Interested in all things, but especially animation/feminism/television/liveness.
I love that I don't have carpet, but I do need to get a rug eventually for my home office/spare room as it's far too easy for me to go spinning and sliding around on my chair and I am a child who finds it too fun and therefore, distracting.

The High Court challenge of the social media ban (to be heard in February) is arguing that the legislation infringes the implied right to political communication:
Banning under-16s from social media may be unconstitutional – and ripe for High Court challenge
This bill may well fall foul of the implied freedom of political communication by cutting children out of large parts of social media conversation.

I've accidentally made doubles of my research outputs on my staff profile and I can't work out how to un-double. Oops.

Oh, a further update to this. Tried again the next day and the toaster is working after all. A mystery.
Tried to make toast. Nothing was toasting. I think we discovered why it was in the shed 😂
Dad an unearthed an almost brand new looking toaster in the shed. None of us can remember why we stopped using it. Guess I'm gonna take it and find out?

Question for the hive mind: what's a livestream that you like that might be considered 'everyday' by some or 'slow'. E.g., I'm thinking of the livestream of the corpse flower blooming from earlier this year.

Ann Rutherford is beautiful as Christmas Past (the 1938 version) but I do prefer Christmas Past when they're a bit more creepy and disconcerting.

Alrighty, working on my list of Christmas Carol adaptations to watch this December that I have not already seen. So far adding the 1938 version by Edwin L. Marin, and the 1999 version starring SirPatStew to the list.

I made the error of thinking "I'll just swing by Kmart really quick" forgetting it's a Sunday afternoon and the sales are happening.
Draining board acquired though.

Moved in 80% of my main furniture to the new apartment today, including my new/old bed frame, flat packs that still need to be built, table and chairs. I will be officially 'moving in' tomorrow when the mattress goes. Having said that, I am staring at a wall of books and DVDs that need shifting ...
