Elon Musk and DOGE are now publicly targeting Lutheran groups for cuts.
Among those listed: Global Refuge (formerly LIRS), one of 6 faith-based groups that have long helped the govt resettle refugees.
Not clear why Musk contends this funding, which is longstanding and well known, is "illegal."

Political opposition does not equal enemies. The statement of Bob Dole about Bill Clinton, “he’s my opponent, not my enemy,” is deeply needed today.
The culture of modern politics, escalated by the right of making the left enemies, continues to be concerning.

Flying on a plane today for a week of cont. ed. I am deeply thankful for the time away and the fact that I flew out of PTI rather than CLT. It is a much more pleasant and calmer experience.

I’m heading to the Utah/Idaho border for some continuing education next week and I was hoping to take a day trip to Yellowstone and/or Grand Tetons. It’s really a bummer to most likely have a plan b.
