The sad part is… Roblox actually used to be good about moderation and child safety, way back when. I spoke to those people repeatedly. They honestly cared about it.
But then Roblox started getting big, and that part of the company wasn’t making the money.

If we have a kid we are absolutely forbidding Roblox. I know I will inevitably cave on a number of other stupid things all their little friends are doing, but this is a hard line in the sand that no amount of screaming will change.

Honestly, it is SUPER BAD CX to automatically opt-in anyone to any feature. But features that involve violating your privacy or ownership of content you create should be illegal.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
