I think the thing that's most unbelievable about this episode is how Spock is on the bridge completely by himself when he's googling his true crime podcast about tarsus. Like where is everyone? Why is no one babysitting Spock? He could be doing anything up there on the bridge!

Vulcan babies should be a little bit unsettling I think. They should be like, babbling about calculations and trying to beam incomprehensible images into your mind. Making threats. And as a Vulcan that's endearing baby stuff but any other species is kinda freaked out.

I think I already made a post on here about this but I love blasting my fave characters with the “you have my mental health crap too” beam, so. HC that Spock has a variant of Seasonal Affective Disorder that commonly afflicts space travelers-Space Affective Disorder, if you will.

I wanna write a “characters get de-aged by SciFi Nonsense” fic where Kirk and Spock are already married and bonded. Completely established relationship. And when they get baby-fied, the bond remains intact.
So despite all the confusion, Baby Spock looks at Baby Jim and just goes. Ah. We’re married.

I feel like Vulcan parents would baby-wear a lot. Skin-to-skin is good for human babies, but I bet it’s even better for tiny baby touch-telepaths.

Headcanon that for Vulcans it’s common to poetically or jokingly compare their spouse entering a room to the room becoming darker, because they have cat-like pupils that go huge in the dark to let in more light, but that also go huge when they’re looking at something they like.
