[Tuvok] spent inordinate quantities of time with Sophie Timmins during the last months of his senior year at the Academy, discussing the teachings of M'Fau, mditating communally, and discussing the profundities of cthia. He discerned that Sophie's fascination for things Vulcan was not merely an intellectual curiosity; she seemed to want, on some deeply felt level, to be Vulcan. She pored over Vulcan history and studied Surak's writings assiduously. She was the first true friend Tuvok had made among Humans, and that only because she did everything she could to disavow her Humanity and to inculcate Vulcanism.

T'Pel is in a pottery room, holding an oddly shaped vase. From off screen, Elieth and Asil shout "MOTHER! we are HOT!!" T'Pel, examining the vase calmly, informs them that it is unbefitting to shout. Asil shouts "No!" while Elieth responds "I enjoy shouting." Ignoring this, T'Pel responds to their initial exclamation. "How might we alleviate the heat?" she asks. "Water!" Asil answers. She is toddler-aged, her hair adorned with several ribbons. When T'Pel prompts her to say please, Asil shouts "No!" "Blow up the sun," Elieth suggests. He is elementary school aged and wearing all red while his sister wears all yellow. They're both sweating. T'Pel informs him that that action may have unintended consequences.

Tuvok staring with narrowed eyes and a furrowed brow at the monk who took him in as an adolescent. He is thinking "It's still there..." in reference to the hair curler the monk has in, despite being dressed properly in all other aspects. It's noon. An adolescent Tuvok holds an alien chicken-esque animal with long floppy ears and eerily human eyes. He is incredibly disheveled. He's holding a small basket of eggs. The animals are making noises at him and tugging on his clothing, which is far too fancy looking for the task he's obviously been assigned. Tuvok does not look pleased by any aspect of this. Image One: Music is playing throughout the monastery. One monk says to another "They don't make music like this anymore," and the monk being spoken to (Tuvok's mentor) nods in agreement. In the foreground, Tuvok snorts derisively. "And what might that tell us?" he asks, smirking. Image Two: Tuvok is scrubbing the floors and has obviously been at it for a long while. He is frowning and frustrated. The music is still playing. From the doorway, the monk that is his mentor calls that dinner will be ready in ten minutes. Image Three: A collage of Tuvok as a young professor. His students call him "Savensu-Patam" which translates to 'head teacher' though they're referring to his forehead rather than his job. A fellow Vulcan tells Tuvok that he could stand to be more social as he sips from a cup labeled 'Father'. In his head he debates whether to say "Could I really?" or "Forgive me, I wasn't aware this was a popularity contest." Ultimately, he decides on not responding at all.

Remembering that sketch/bit where Frasier's cast were on Voyager and Janeway was the only VOY cast member to appear in it...Tuvok should have been there. Also I should have been in this passage because I would be screaming and crying...he has a HEADACHE...

Contrary to PIC's assertion, I don't think Tuvok would be a captain. He doesn't seem to have any aspirations to be one and when he's in charge of people they mostly want to kill him. Nor do I think he'd just be a security commander forever. I think he'd just do something else one day.
