24) anyone who takes the time to comment on any of my fics is my fave, but lately the ones for Noises Off make me cry (affectionate). What do you mean this fic spoke to you so profoundly that it inspired you to make art again?? 😭😭💖💖 Also the one person who said "fuck you, kudos left" 10000/10

23) I dunno about weird, but I am proud of using "Literal Fanfic Problems" as a tag for my Untitled Goose Game fic where the goose fucked around with the Yuletide event

22) honestly all smut is good, but I feel as I get older, the more I crave for porn with plot, both with reading and writing. I need that build up and tension to get me invested. Noises Off was initially pwp but I felt compelled to explain the lead up to the sex AND THEN 120K WORDS LATER-

21) I have a slew of people I send my drafts to for beta reading, depending on the fandom. Even if I don't send the full document, I usually bounce ideas off someone for a vibe check.

20) I honestly don't know? Like sure, I write a lot of angst, but I don't consider that a genre. I like to blend genres if anything. Probably leaning more to fantasy/supernatural with horror and slice of life vibes.

19) usually 3rd person limited in past tense. Sometimes I'll write in present tense, but always 3rd person. Of course I'll do 1st person when doing a journal entry or something, but that's it.

18) silence is optimal, but I'll listen to quiet instrumental music (usually piano tunes or very chill lo-fi stuff) as background noise to block out the world. Also noise canceling earbuds are a lifesaver.

17) flanderization. full stop.

I honestly will stomach bad grammar and formatting of it means reading something with actual depth and respect to the characters. I'm so sick and tired of people just filing characters down to One Aspect of their personality.

16.5) and it's not easy either. If anything, I feel writing AUs relies on the canon even more than canon compliant fics. Bc you still need to read it and go "oh yeah that's definitely (insert character here)". Otherwise you're just cosplaying with tropes with no sense of identity

16) usually yes! They're a great exercise in taking existing canon elements and reimagining them in a different setting. Translating those elements, so to speak, is so much fun. That said, I do feel there's a fine line between AU and "this is so far removed from the source material just write OCs"

15.5) and it's funny bc the idea first started out of pure spite, then bc "I need something Less Involved plot-wise for my next writing project", and the more I jot notes for it, the more I realize this silly romcom fic is gonna be equally packed with feels. Never escaping the angst allegations 😭

15) I'm planning/outlining a rivals AU fic for after I finish Noises Off, which is a really silly romcom "meet-cute" set after both games and these divas start off on the wrong foot and are competing for a shitty television time slot and accidentally fall in love along the way.

14) WLYH is 214k.

I still need to finish Noises Off, so... you know... There Is A Chance lol but also I highly doubt it will exceed 200k. Then again, I also planned for it to be 30k max so fuck if I know.

13) uh it depends on the fic lol I can usually write 2k words in a day so most oneshots in theory wouldn't take more than a week to draft/edit. Longfics obviously take WAY longer
