Okay but for real, stop letting "what if I make a mistake" or "what if it's not good" stop you from creating.
Imperfections are a part of the package. No artist is perfect, nor will they ever be.
Just make your stuff. You'll find what you enjoy and you'll improve the more you do it.

THIS. Frustration tolerance is the key to getting good at anything at all, not just art. Socials media makes it so easy to compare yourself to others, but you just have to ignore that and have fun with your little drawings. Do it enough and you'll eventually get better through trial and error.
Being unable to tolerate frustration + chasing social media clout gotta be a big reason why ppl jumped on the gen ai machine to churn out slop

I don’t want to contribute to toxic positivity and this idea that you should always be 100% happy and enthused with making things only for you. It’s okay to not get traction on things. It’s okay to make things for a small audience of yourself and friends. It’s okay to feel demoralized about it.
