So the brick-roofed town and the other town way in the far back right were naturally generated, and my wife and I decided to build here :3
The purple/white house is mine, the brick roofed house towards the middle is hers. We're eventually gonna clean the place up better, fix up the houses, etc.

I learned our bodies aren't great at distinguishing between hunger and thirst, and was told whenever I think I'm hungry and it's not quite a meal time yet drink a glass of water and wait 20-30 minutes. If I'm still hungry I get a healthy snack, and if not then cool I was just dehydrated. -

So I read the first chapter of Gideon the 9th aloud to my wife and we both went 'holy fuck' by the end because it's so, so good.
If you like sci-fi you'll love this. If you like necromancy and dead things you'll love it. I've heard nothing but good and this is so much better than I expected :D

Went to the book store and got The Infinite and The Divine and 3 of the 4 Gideon the 9th books (didn't realize there was a 4th) but like...I've heard nothing but good things about all those books and I'm so excited to read them ^^

I'm disabled so anything with heavy physical labor (retail) or talking to people who could yell at me (phone centers) are no-no's for my physical and mental health. But I lack the expensive piece of paper (college degree) that says I can do most jobs that don't require those things so...yeah

H-E-B sells what they call 'pumpkin empanadas' but they're really like soft bread shell with pumpkin seeds baked in and a pumpkin puree with pumpkin spices inside. They're also *enormous*, like the size of a good calzone, and they come in a 4 pack for like $5 and they're so freaking good.
