This isn't a series of independent zero-sum games.

We don't need to win every battle. We do need to exact a price every time they raid our communities.

Reduce harm as much as you can. Make sure they leave more weary than they came.

Trust that comrades in other cities will pick up the baton.

I've seen refugee aid efforts defeat multi-year occupations by regional / national police forces who deployed 30x the amount of resources. Hell I've been part of that.

It is *very* possible.

ICE's budget has a limit.
Make them use it.

ICE's morale has a limit.
Make them lose it.

I and others are doing this in New York, but it's easy to have a lot of people with eyes and ears tuned to the city and responding quickly compared to this. The people who are doing this, mostly of their own volition, in the suburbs, are genuinely heroic.

10. Hope this helps people understand what is going on right now. It's complicated, but they are all negotiating right now, and our rights definitely need to be fought for at this moment.

9. We MAY get a CR that is "clean" with no anti-trans provisions in it, but don't prematurely celebrate if we do because that is NOT the real fight. That would be "we've extended our negotiations for another month or two while we hammer out what's in the final bill."

8. In 2024, when Democrats had full control of the Senate, they allowed an anti-trans youth care tricare ban to pass. They refused to even hold a vote to remove it, because it was what was in the final negotiated bill for the military.
