Why did many people cringe at the Sam Altman and Jony Ive video?

Maybe we're used to actionable hard-sell videos with an embedded CTA.

To me, this is exciting. It's the possibility of an inflection point for interfaces comparable to the invention of the mouse.

Why are some of you still using X? I don't mean the people that must keep it for their job or income, but the rest of you? I'm trying to understand what your red line is. Or do you not have one?

Things you forgot (or never knew) because of React joshcollinsworth.com/blog/antiqua...

This is a very good post that's worth your time to read. It has a good blend of history, valid criticism, credit-where-credit-is-due, and a fresh look at current front-end technologies.
Things you forgot (or never knew) because of React
If you don't often look beyond established comfortable defaults, you might be surprised to learn just how far the world of frontend has moved away from React, and how big that gap continues to grow.

I'm not good yet at creating a "professional personal brand".

It's just that I feel that life is more than coding, designing or working all the time, and that other parts are the ones that I like to share the most.

And also, trying to hack the networking game all the time feels exhausting.

If you don't say that the legacy code you'll have to maintain is bloated, over-engineered, and undocumented, are you really working with legacy code?
