Good. Every gerrymander must be responded to in kind.
Virginia Democrats will hold a special session beginning Monday to redraw the state’s congressional map. The move makes Virginia the second state to start a redistricting process that counters the wave of aggressive Republican gerrymanders nationwide.

Just unabashedly corrupt and oligarchic country we live in. It's been this way for a while because of SCOTUS but more pronounced now.

I don't get why liberals spend time saying, "They should call for resignations!" They don't care. They're lawless. They do what they want. Stop being weak and offer a progressive vision that unites the working class versus the billionaires.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick urged Fox News viewers to buy Tesla stock, an apparent violation of federal ethics rules that prohibit officials from endorsing products or businesses.

And what does he do with those seats. Nothing. A complete weak, ineffective loser.
Schumer on CBS on calls for him to go:

"Here’s what I say — I’m the best leader for the Senate. I am the best at winning Senate seats."

He's been completely useless for as long as I can remember.
Honestly wasn’t prepared for how lost and out of his depth Chuck Schumer is this interview. Doesn’t seem like he’s absorbed any new information since 2007. I don’t know who Senate Democrats’ best option is, but hard for me to imagine it’s this.

Head in the sand will definitely be a good idea!
The Trump administration is planning to cancel its lease at a government laboratory in Hawaii, a site where scientists support key observations of surging greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere, according to a list obtained by Democratic members of Congress and shared with The Post.
Trump moves to close facility that helps track planet-warming pollution
The lab is connected to the Mauna Loa Observatory, where scientists gather data to produce the Keeling Curve, a chart on the daily status of atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations.

OPINION: It is ironic that Musk, who wants to slash the federal budget and workforce, is going to financially benefit from the Mars mission, which conveniently is not on the chopping block.
No, Elon, we should not go to Mars
(RNS) — It makes more sense to spend money saving the Earth from climate change, ecological destruction and international conflicts than it does going to Mars.

President Trump and his allies have begun suggesting that some economic pain could be ahead for Americans, as the administration carries out plans to slap tariffs on billions of dollars of goods coming into the U.S. and fire thousands of federal workers across the country.
Trump and his allies hint at economic pain ahead for Americans
While top officials have framed any economic disruption as short term and necessary for long-term prosperity, the comments go against Trump's campaign rhetoric.
