1st time I tried reading this I DNF'd. It was my own fault. I heard "slasher novel" & being the slasher lover I am, I expected the typical slasher formula, the typical hijinks of a slasher film in novel form. I dismissed the novel for not being what I expected it to be.

Super Android Metalder is one of the most strikingly designed henshin heroes I've seen on my tokusatsu journey. All the way back in the day watching VR Troopers, this guy stood out.

This book rocks. It's like if SALEMS LOT was about the forces of hell itself taking over a small town instead of vampires. Both books share quite a bit of similarities. Not a bad thing though.
