Dublin, Ireland.

Exit row aisle seat with the middle seat apparently not in use. This is the best plane seat I have ever had.

Cue the far right insisting on doing everything in Roman numerals.

In Dublin Airport. There’s a big ad for a Rolls Royce Trent 1000 jet engine. Are they… expecting me to assemble my own plane?

I guess one difference between me and Elon Musk is that, if I was gaming an AI to say these things about me, and everyone could see that I had done this, I'd have simply no choice but to set myself on fire.

Today, my dentist's "AI receptionist" rang me on the phone, at 09:45, and asked me to confirm appointment, then took about 10 seconds to ack me saying yes. This is clearly far worse in every possible way than their previous solution (email).

The bursting of this bubble cannot come soon enough.

Inconsistency in Pluribus; she’s on an A330. They would _definitely_ put her in a four engined plane.

Bloody hell, this episode of Grand Designs is dragging on a bit.
I walked up and down my house, which is now almost finished, there being nothing to do but the glazier and furniture to put up.

Huh. So, anyway, the government is trying to convince people to buy PTSB.
Govt to allocate an extra 20 bn for infra investment, largely from Apple back-taxes and the sale of the last of AIB. I have questions about the sustainability of this random-windfalls funding model.

Presumably if the government can somehow convince someone to buy PTSB, Galway can have a luas.

2025: Google will happily give bullshit LLM answers to things which clearly aren't questions. However, ask it a question, and, well...

I mean, c'mon, Google, you were able to do unit conversions 20 years ago.

So watching Amandaland (sequel to Motherland), which has Joanna Lumley in it. And she's not all that tall; turns out she's 5'8. Now wondering what was going on with Absolutely Fabulous; was everyone except Patsy just very short?

Okay, so a good review, but possibly from a reviewer with _extremely_ low expectations. The room was heated! Imagine!

On the way back, yes, Ryanair. The flight out was over 90 minutes late, though, so I wouldn’t necessarily get _too_ smug about it.
