The NWSLPA has filed a grievance with the NWSL on behalf of Trinity Rodman, arguing the league violated at least five different sections of the current collective bargaining agreement when it vetoed a proposed four-year, multi-million dollar deal between Rodman and the Washington Spirit.

If Trin is going to be forced out of the league she absolutely should drag Berman and all the other owners who are advocating to underpay women down with her. Make them look stupid, keep pointing out how this is their fault.

Okay, seriously last thing. We treat athletes in women's sports like they should be above chasing the money like their male counterparts. Players want to make millions. They leave to make millions. Being a woman doesn't change that desire. Pony up. Time's ticking.

It's just such an obvious win for every NWSL club to have Rodman in the league. A massive endorsement for the entire project, that all their Brand partners will enjoy hearing about.

nwsl owners do not want to have the best league in the world, they want widespread mediocrity that they can position as 'parity' and 'the most competitive league.' it's literally the nfl model attempted in a sport with a global market that can and will leave the nwsl behind.
