This is a bit sideways to your point, but I think the really revolutionary pedagogical change in the last hundred years is access to education.

Our students could still learn given only chalkboard lectures and printed books. My grandparents couldn't because they didn't get to go to university.

In astrophysics, for example, there is @ojastro.bsky.social which uses the (long-established) arxiv.org for archiving and distribution.

I read the article and my first thought was "aside from the AI snake oil Sweden and Denmark already have apps that do this".

Second thought: you want to build *all* of that from scratch in 3 years? In the UK? With the government and press bikeshedding you on every tiny issue? Erm, good luck?
