“Ruth” A watercolor painting of an author I just read.

The painting is made with crimson red lake and Prussian blue, the two colors left on the lid of the paint container I use as a palette

A lot of white journalists have a persistent level of empathy and good faith for white Trump voters and white nationalists. It's often evident in how stories about these two groups are framed, reported, edited and defended online compared to stories about Black Americans and progressive activists.

Heather. Felt like drawing something on a scribbled on sketchbook page. Water soluble graphite and a cool water dripped thing I’ve always had but never messed with.

As promised, here are the slides I shared with students to convince them to NOT use chatGPT and other artificial stupidity.

TL;DR? AI is evil, unsustainable and stupid, and I'd much rather they use their own brains, make their own mistakes, and actually learn something. 🪄

Republicans have made clear they won’t hesitate to bleed health programs dry if it means they can shower more tax cuts on billionaires and big corporations.

I will fight tooth and nail to stop them & protect the health care families rely on. Repost if you're with me.

I’m sure most Senators understand the danger in confirming RFK Jr.

But here's the thing: conscience is a muscle. Courage is a muscle. The less you use them, the more they fade away.

If you do not draw a line somewhere, you will cross every line you could ever imagine.

Does it have a point? Not really

Is it well done in any way? No

Should I share it? Apparently

Folks, I see a lot of you recently feeling free to use some variation of the "R" word for mentally disabled, including appending the last four letters as suffix to describe people you don't like. I'm not down with that, so if you do it in my comments, I'm gonna hide that shit at least. Be better.

"We are in a massive massive humanitarian crisis which Trump has inflicted, a man-made crisis... he said 'no more aid' overnight... it should be one of the biggest stories in America... people are going to die because of what Trump, Musk & Rubio have been doing."

Here are the options on the table (which are not mutually exclusive):

1. House Dems bring articles of impeachment*

2. Senate Dems play constitutional hardball and obstruct everything

3. State AGs litigate (and prosecute) everything they can

4. Citizens march en mass
