Why is Xenoblade Chronicles X a game that is loved by many, but filled with bad design choices?
It's the same situation Pokemon has in my opinion. Essentially the fans are hijacked by the IP, with a sunk cost fallacy on top.

I'm seeing a lot of games alienating their own fan base to appeal to newer audiences.

Yakuza 5 achievements grind is brutal...
I'm still finishing all the food. I have to keep my inventory filled with stomach medicines... And they're not very effective... One trip to the ramen shop then they're all gone.

Gaiden took me about 4 days to 100%. Wonder how long it will take this time.
