I’m always willing to pay up front, or half and half, whatever the artist wants because most artists will offer at least one minor revision to make sure you’re both happy! @colonelrogers.bsky.social is AMAZING because he asks for approval at every stage and has never disappointed. ❤️
offering some useful info to those doing art commissions JUST IN CASE:
please require payment up front! if someone is not willing to pay you PRIOR to you beginning the art (yes, even sketches! sketching is work!) you should be wary
it's too easy for people to dodge payment in this specific setup
