Getting closer. eBay wins this week and a LCS had this Gibson for a great price. Too bad the centering is off but it is a beautiful card otherwise! 18 to go!

Cards of the night: It’s not Ohtani but it is the first Japanese-born MLB player, Masanori Murakami. In 1964 he pitched 9 games in relief striking out 15 and walking only 1 with a 1.80 ERA. Here are his 1965 Topps RC and 2025 Topps First Pitch cards.

A Friday trip to Columbia, MO for the @USAquarium concert at @RoseMusicHall and ended up in the nicest card shop I’ve ever been. @Dugout_CoMo got me quite a bit closer to finishing the 1965 set. Great store, good prices, and super organized. Only 23 more to go.

Finally, got the cabinets filled with Royals bobbleheads again. Here is everything from 2002-2023 (2002 Sluggerrr is in a different cabinet). I need more room for the rest.

Went to the McPherson (KS) Sportscard Show for the first time on Saturday. Great to see @RyanHageman33. Got a few big cards for my 65 set build along with some Brett’s, a Bench, and a Goudey Fred Brickell, Saffordville, KS native.
