UX/UI design WEB3 and everything in between
Say what you want about #IOS26 and #liquidglass.
Apple is and always will be the master of small details and delight.
Using the gyroscope to project light on "glass" and the good old clock ticking in the app icon will always make me happy.

Why am I so excited like a baby whenever I get access to new products?

How do I even start?

That's what I'm thinking now, and what I was thinking when I jumped on the vibe coding train.

This post will not be long, but it contains an important lesson that I received from a mentor of mine almost 10 years ago, and it's very basic: Start!

I'm building my own little vibe coding project. 🧑‍💻
For years, I dreamed of making my own apps. As a product designer, it was always my dream to be a creative founder for my own product.

Finally!! @LottielabHQ I'm gonna have so much fun with this.

Should I add this #liquidglass effect to my portfolio?

However, it shows how much they misunderstood how these new elements, which we can use in our designs, are so much more complex than just a masked texture and slight blur can provide. They interact with the rest of the interface.⬇️

I promise it's the last post I will make on the topic this week, but I must.

The reaction to the initial closed developer beta touched a nerve and made me angry with the design community.

And it's nice to see how designers are trying their implementation of this design.⬇️

#Liquidglass is just one step in this direction. The attached video demonstrates incredible advancements in human-computer interaction within this UI implementation, one that honestly reminds me of how "materialUI" was first introduced.

It's currently trendy to criticize Apple's design, particularly on social media, where professional designers have pointed out some accessibility issues with color grading. However, these can be resolved with slight adjustments in shading and the use of blur. #WWDC25

I have a longer-form post coming on this topic, but I had to post this one too.

My entire social media feeds I filled with how #Apple has done a poor job in #accessibility. None of the critics went into the documentation and watched the explanatory videos on the topic. #wwdc25

Following my post from yesterday about Apple's liquid glass, obviously not as liquidy as presented by Apple, but I have been playing with glass materials and UI for many years now.

“Our ambition was to design a single sheet of glass. You interact directly with the display. The display is the product.” Johnny Ive.

I love the liquid glass implementation so much, it is what "Glassmorphism" should have been all along.

Am I the only one seeing this? 😅

Creating pills, labels, tags, or chips can be quite the challenge! These components often get overlooked, but they can really shine as part of your design system. The tricky part is getting them to play nicely together and fit in everywhere, all while keeping accessibility in mind.

⚖️ Focusing on optimizing the top 20% of most-used features can significantly raise user satisfaction and drive adoption by 80% of your users. By prioritizing these key functionalities, you ensure core aspects deliver maximum value. This aligns with the Pareto Principle.
