Sweet irony.. from a zine I made at my last hospital w/o Oxe (‘A Patient’s Guide to 1-1 Staff and Where to Find Them) - think my artistic rendition is pretty spot on.

On my way to an inpatient mental health ward this evening. In general hospital waiting. Nervous but trying to keep it together. Card of the day is very apt. #madsky

Having my stick now is part of me - I coordinate it to my outfits, have a bit of fun with it. I can do a bit without my stick but even if I don’t necessarily need it when I leave the house.. I definitely do by the time I’m getting back!

It gets easier. Love from someone further along 💗
