Using @airwindows.com Zoom (0.283) to peel back tape compression on an EQ'd Grateful Dead Betty Board, I added some Distance3 (0.03 miles), a chamber reverb, and a HP filter, then Zoom again in the opposite direction (0.717) to seal it back up. The roominess is just melts into the tape saturation.
