The Für Das Kind (For the Children) statue, Liverpool Street station, London. The Kindertransport system rescue efforts (1938-1940) brought thousands of Jewish refugee children to safety in Great Britain from Nazi Germany. Most of whom would never again see their parents, murdered in the Holocaust.
