Three weeks ago when I asked my GP for another referral to mental health services for a medication review (I’ve asked three times and never hear back) I happened to get a doctor who was willing to prescribe me something herself. Still early days but so far it’s been transformative.

last week marked three years since i gave up drinking. and honestly…. not drinking is bullshit. it’s frustrating and miserable and makes it so hard to just enjoy things. but that’s what you get for having a bad brain. here’s to another year 🥂

Maybe it’s bc of the death of twitter or maybe I’m forgetting some or maybe I just don’t hang out in the places they’re made anymore, but have there been any new entries to the lexicon recently on the level of “milkshake duck” or “corncobbing”? Feels like a huge loss for the English language if not.
