No schadenfreude or satisfaction in seeing ‘prominent’ Trump
cheerleaders in the UK finally see the light & change their tune (Andrew Neil is just the latest). Just a low simmer at their toxic blend of arrogance, cupidity & ignorance & the knowledge that the media will still promote their ilk.

Imagine being Shadow Justice Secretary and being this ignorant of your brief.

It’s akin to a UK sports minister tweeting about “our national soccer ball game with the famous oval ball”.

It’s a toss up whether Jenrick’s most unappealing feature is his dishonesty or his thickness.

Almost every assertion of fact and law in Honest Bob Jenrick’s latest far-right-tickling rant is false.

But because I’m me, I feel it most important to point out that the statue of Lady Justice above the Old Bailey is famously *not* blindfolded.

As any real lawyer knows.

Glad the issue of private schools gaming the system to get extra exam time for their pupils has been picked up because I heard this a couple of weeks ago and felt it completely outrageous.

Quite possible that state school pupils have received lower grades as a result.

Many people have objected to this tweet saying BBC Verify is rubbish. Not one that I have seen has explained what is wrong with its calculations which to me seem correct. Of course there are other things they would like it to have said - some unprintable! - but facts are facts

I never know how helpful 'Imagine ifs' are - although I am partial to reminding people of the media meltdowns when Diane Abbott had a mojito on a train - but seriously, imagine a major Labour politician publicly advertising this level of pant-wetting ignorance. He is shadow *Justice Secretary* ffs.

Well a new independent Civil Service Commission report finds that such appointments were "considerably" higher under the last Conservative government.

Important context here:

● over half of farms are less than 49 acres (20 hectares)

● "a big farm" is 217 acres.

Now let's see who's angry:

● Clarkson farm is 1,000 acres
● Lloyd Webber farms 4,000 acres
● Viscount Rothermere (Mail owner) 4,700 acres
● Dyson owns 36,000 acres

Isn’t this cosy? Badenoch and the pompous Clarkson foghorn having a fireside chat about how the Tories will help tax-dodging wealthy landowners like him.

God knows what she thinks her own govt did to *all* our communities, including rural ones.
Or to the public services that our taxes pay for.

Nice thinking. Poachers turned gamekeepers (Clarkson), or is it gamekeepers turned poachers (Farage and Johnson)?
Whatever you think of Labour's inheritance tax on farms...

Letting Jeremy Clarkson, Nigel Farage & Boris Johnson lead the way is INSANELY STUPID.

Clarkson just wants to dodge tax and the other two already ruined farming with Brexit.... Remember Fishing?!?
