Its officially been 3 months since we went to upstate vermont and i would like to go back to being 6 miles from other people and a half hour drive to the general store

I geuss my whole question after all of this is, if ALL of the city departments who handle this are saying its not safe for them to pick up the hawk bc of bird flu then how is it safe for me or any of my roommtes to pick it up and bury?
1.bird flu commitee only will if its more than 5 birds
2. Animal ctrl and 311 cant bc hawks are state protected
3 environmental literally is no longer allowed to handle dead birds(bc bird flu)
4 public health said it was closed
BUT environmental police said i could bury it if inwear gloves

Had steroid injections in my back, they worked for about a week. Now i have to wait a month for my follow up appointment while i slowly become the shape of a spiral as my spine decides to rearrange itself all over again.
