And why is it that flag-waving fake patriots so often have the flag upside down #eejits #fakepatriot
If you need proof that when Reform UK politicians wave the 🇬🇧Union Flag🇬🇧, it's not patriotism, it's just manipulation.

The Reform Party leader, waving the Union Jack in this photo was literally a Russian Spy.

I opened this as it looks like a nice recipe, but it has leeks and peppers that mature at opposite ends of the year. I wish people focused on recipes that don't involve huge food miles to get the ingredients together
One of my favourite things to eat is #RecipeOfTheDay: Spiced Bulgur Wheat with Roast Vegetables! I’m very happy to eat it as a meal in itself, but it’s a great accompaniment to a roast chicken, lamb or fish, and such an upliftingly beautiful dish, too. www.nigella.com/recipes/spic...
Spiced Bulgur Wheat with Roast Vegetables
This is one of the recipes that is in constant rotation in my house: no matter how often I eat it, I never tire of it. The scorched sweetness of leeks and red peppers, the brightness of tomatoes and p...

Obvs @profaliceroberts.bsky.social has travelled by train in many more countries than me but there do seem to be massive differences which make it much easier for other countries. The UK trains run every 10, 15 or 30 minutes for many routes whereas on the continent, there are often only 2 or 3 a day
Needed to do some work on the train home so shelled out for a first class ticket. Where I’m sitting on the floor! Honestly, I travel the world by train and so many countries get it so right. Why can’t we? 😢

I had been doubtful that we were going to have a "this is the crisis moment" with Trump, as opposed to "everything about this is a destructive catastrophe."

But the Abrego Garcia case is the crisis moment.

I am in favour of this but, being picky, you are potentially taxable from, I think, 3 months old
Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he will stick to his promise of lowering the voting age to 16

'If you're old enough to pay your taxes, then you're entitled to have a say on how your taxes are spent'

'We will definitely get it done', he told senior MPs

It's great to see people demonstrating against Trump but these pictures mostly don't show particularly large crowds unfortunately so maybe not as good as suggested
The American people have risen up and they are PISSED AS HELL.

@christownsend.bsky.social You have previously recommended
the Nokia XR21 and Samsung Galaxy Xcover7 as being good waterproof/drop resistant phones for walkers. Would you still recommend these or is there something else/newer? Thanks

Boris Johnson used to do the same. There was an expectation that people dining with him would donate £10,000 to the Conservative Party
I don't think there's precedent for this level of open corruption at the federal level, certainly not in the last 100+ years.

SCOOP: Business leaders are paying as much as $5,000,000 to meet one-on-one with President Donald Trump at his Florida compound, sources tell WIRED, while others are paying $1,000,000 apiece to dine with him in a group setting.

Individuals/groups involved with illegal violence are called terrorists. Countries doing the same are called rogue nations. It's an absolute political no-no to support terrorists but rogue nation doesn't sound as bad. Russia is a terrorist country. The US is supporting terrorists
