I mean the whole framing of the story is a bit strange. Talking about "Henry's" feeling hard done by. But there aren't any direct quotes or even any hints he has spoken to any to arrive at this conclusion.

There's a shorter more interesting story trying to get out. This feels like the correct takeaway bsky.app/profile/anth...

Heimat is nine hours and I wouldn't trim any of it. But what I would do is watch it in its serial format like most people.

Huh.. I liked that film but your comments make me wonder if I would on a rewatch now. I think at the time the style of film making felt fresh. Same for Pushing Tin and Grosse Pointe Blank.
Die My Love could be an answer to this!

Err... I didn't write any abuse or harassment but I did write something that contained the word 'p1ss' is BlueSky just being very prudeish?

I got gently ribbed by a train guard once for reading the FT. Commiserating with me for the difficulty of turning the pages in a tight space. Fairly sure he was taking the piss 😁

I suppose I was finding the rage invigorating. Which if directed differently could easily leave you feeling quite the opposite.

I don't actually remember the end of The Good Place. But I will say the final ep of the 1st season had my jaw drop. Because, sitcoms aren't supposed to have twists like that.

Got nothing. But I would say there is probably some good ideas in BBC's Wild Isles that I've just totally forgotten

Wild Isles - Series 1: 1. Our Precious Isles
David Attenborough celebrates the rich variety of habitats in our wild isles, the existence of which is critical for the survival of species right across the globe.

Is 'Singin in the Rain' both metaphorical and literal? I kind of think of it that way because of the film, but... And what does 'about' mean? Rain features very strongly in that song, with the onomatopoeia right from the start.

I think you could say it's about rain amongst other things.

Isn't it just a more poetic "look at all these men!"

'Eskimo Lament' by the Coral I think the lines about rain are actually about it raining. Thought of one.
