And I see people who continue to ask the reason why we fear losing someone if we know that death is inevitable. Now that I think about it, I don't think it's necessarily the fear. It's the burden of stories we share with someone that we have to carry alone after them. Carrying memories for two can be heavy, and sometimes, they can make you lonely. I think it's the unpreparedness to take such a weighted responsibility that scare people.

My Mama got sick, went to the doc on Thursday, thought it was a cold. We took turns caring for her. By Saturday we wanted to bring her to hospital. Unfortunately she kept refusing. On Sunday, my sister found her laying out half naked in the sun with fever and blue lips. She called an ambulance.

had an electrocardiogram test for the first time today, it wasn't nearly as bad as I dreaded it to be😅 it was done by a female doctor instead of my regular male one so that's probably why.
She was really nice, gentle and patient with me🥹

found out today my great-aunt has died. She was my mother's favourite aunt, a kind soul and an amazing cook. I remember when we were children she used to invite us to eat at her house, once she even had prepared a chocolate fountain and fruit just for us!
