No and yes - the freakin’ freak didn’t seek re-election as Mayor but his anointed successor has got in. Old Mayor returns as a councillor. Councillors 7:2 right wing I think. Kaipara is great in many ways but it then has an ugly side too - lots of vff anti-vax meets J Batch types.
