I just watched Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. Any adjectives I could use to describe it are wholly inadequate. I read that it received a 15 minute standing ovation at the film festival in Venice, but that too is inadequate.

Lesbians in a remote farm house take in a curious alien. The remote location and limited cast make it brooding and claustrophobic. The moodiness makes up for some of the low budget. More so than some nudity and blood I think the humanization of lesbians is what really irked the censors.

This is Chief Logan of the Mingo Tribe and my Sixth great grandfather. The fought on opposite sides in Lord Dunmore's War, but later became respectful friends. I hope there's something in that I can learn from.

This is my dad in '68, I was a Christmas leave baby and just 1 year old at the time. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and I distinctly remember two things he said to me that are echoed by your post. He said that if Bush and Cheney were elected we would go to war and that war was man's worst creation.
