I'm on my 3rd driveway clearing of the day (almost at 1' of snow now), meanwhile the neighbood dudes have hooked a tow line up to the back of their Wrangler and are driving around towing their buddy on skis. I've never felt so far from my youth.

The Star Wars Christmas Special is absurd viewing, and Lumpy (yes, Lumpy) watch these jugglers is just the tip of the iceberg.
you can tell most people don't get more than five minutes into the Star Wars Holiday Special cos they don't even talk about the scene where Chewie's son spends two minutes watches holographic Mungo Jerry and Rumpleteaser juggling

Having spent nearly 2 weeks in Washington DC while my wife recovers from surgery, my dislike of it as a city has only deepened. It's like the uncanny valley of cities: just enough urban elements to be familiar but with a veneer of slickness to be unsettling.
