I feel like this year was better than most recent ones. Double Heart to Lotte, Raptor to Family Kingdom, S&S (vaporware) coaster to I-Drive, Intamin's crazy dark ride (that looks like it started as a failed RFP for MarioKart).

But the internet has definitely changed the dynamic of IAAPA reveals.

I've been there on several occasions over the years, but in every instance it was either closed or we didn't have time. Having done most other things in the vicinity made it tough to justify going out there again, but yes this may move the needle. I'm curious to see the custom layout.

The copious green trees do give it away to even an untrained eye.

I'd bet what happened with the poster is the graphic artist was given some assets, wanted more coaster track, couldn't find any in the approved folder that fit, and so went looking online for the first stock image to license.
