Most of my muses are pretty personal - despite being a woman, there was a LOT of time spent pretending to be a boy/man and it's a role I find easy to slip back into in terms of fiction. There's a lot of myself that has nothing to do with gender that I find fun and meaningful to explore

This is genuinely the most wholesome and amazing story for why someone can love writing their muse that I’ve ever heard.
// -c- my parents are still alive. But I take comfort in the similarities.

Also much like Ivette, I feel a partial disconnect to my Peruvian roots sometimes.

Also writing with her gives me an opportunity to embrace mythology from Peru. Incan or Moche.

// Honestly? Personal story time.

My parents are both Peruvian but I was born and raised in Canada. I am incredibly shy and I don’t speak a lot of Spanish. I’m also neurodivergent.

And discovering Ivette and I see she has a lot of similarities.

I mean she’s American and I’m Canadian. And -c-

For Robbie, it’s the cultural and the family aspect. He’s not afraid to speak his blood language nor share his culture.

Especially since it’s one I share with him. His personality is almost like mine, which does make me feel like “we’re both literally the same person”.

For the Horizon Signal, it’s getting to write this omnipresent eldritch cosmic entity that isn’t obviously malevolent

For Caroline it’s getting to write in the comic verses as just a normal person, and the fun yes and that comes from that

For Maurice it’s getting to write this incredibly~

But personally, asking myself what would Superman do and how would Superman act has helped my mental health somewhat.

Like…it’s hard to explain.

But I guess you can say asking myself that has helped me through -c-

Here... He just flourished.

I studied how the comics connect, so I can work with ideas for months and not get bored here. My longest run was about six months, but it was split into two parts.
