We’ve released Unovis unovis.dev 1.5 today and then realized it’s its 2nd birthday 🥳

It’s amazing to see how much the project has grown. It now has 20K weekly downloads on NPM and a growing number of contributions. Thanks to @caabernathy.bsky.social for helping us start this Open Source journey.

A month's worth of news (or terms that appear in the news) visualized as a network graph by AskNews & 🪐 Cosmograph.

I really like looking at how topics change over time. It's a bit noisy, but it still gives you some understanding of what events have happened and how they are connected.

Physics simulation is the most enjoyable part of creative coding / data vis (at least for me). It brings so much joy to the dev process.

Looks like BlueSky and the data vis community are having a moment right now!

I came across this awesome aurora.ndimensional.xyz visualization by @syntacrobat.xyz today showing a network graph of 7.7M BlueSky users 🤯

Graph embeddings, UMAP, WebGPU — all the stuff I like!
