the difference in scope re: the number of movies released and how much press they got is difficult to reconcile with how things are now. somehow Arnold + newly minted Oscar winner Thompson + Arnold/De Vito/Reitman (Twins) reuniting was somehow going to just........ work

they've got a fucking making-of featurette for the bottom left

the rarest Stephen King 1980-1999, Trucks - I thought it was one of those "Dollar Babies" projects but no, just a lousy movie starring Timothy Busfield and...... the actress who played Lana Turner in L.A. Confidential?

genuinely one of the worst movies I ever paid to see. I'd logged plenty of bad movies but this one was like, I felt like it shouldn't be legal to fuck anything up THIS BADLY.

oh yeah. I mean I still think CTown is basically impossible for someone who didn't listen to it to understand that they're NOT shitty people (and quite the opposite) but there's no way they'd have that fuck Fuentes on, even as a joke.

I remember getting the Blu-ray for review and when I spotted him I went “…….Avon Barksdale?”

And it’s kind of a featured role. I don’t know if he has any audible lines but he’s the busboy who Melvin bribes to get Carol’s contact info, after the manager of the diner kicks him out.

I don't think anyone was particularly aggro, just the design of the lots and the connecting streets and the beltway streets were crazy-making
