When you get to ZZ you’ll understand that UC in general apparently does have it out for the Irish for some reason. No this is not explained in the expanded documentation, it just happens.

It can be a few things. Bad wires between PC and monitor, GPU driver issues, or just something in the BIOS that isn't set fior your monitor. I'd try anything external before reseating. Can also try plugging into the mobo to make sure things are working.

That scene is insane because after you have Bright looking on in disbelief like he's some hero, Mirai looking up and recognizing that Amuro passed, and the world changing for the better for a moment. Meanwhile our heroes die in complete confusion in their vulnerability to each other. Masterful scene

You should! I know I said skip ZZ for now, but it’s well worth it despite the first 15ish slapstick episodes. Its highs match Zeta imo and its lows are not “Misogyny’s Strongest Soldiers”. The girls are also out in full force with iconic looks. It’s a weird show but well rounded.

ZZ touches on this a lot because of how Haman views men is informed primarily by Char. She tries to see what Char could’ve been in ZZ’s protagonist & sees what he’s become in her own subordinates, self interested men that should be used. She’s hardly motivated by men, her vision is grander than that

I’ll list some major points that ZZ has just to help you jump into CCA because that movie moves at a breakneck pace & doesn’t give a ton of context:
1. Haman loses, Feds now owns Axis.
2. AEUG is dissolved into the Fed, now called Londo Bell team.
3. Mineva Zabi is missing post ZZ.

I’ll list some major points that ZZ has just to help you jump into CCA because that movie moves at a breakneck pace & doesn’t give a ton of context:

From my experience showing people Gundam if you care mostly about Char and Amuro’s conflict just go to CCA. ZZ informs you more of Haman, the Federation, and Bright but none of it is woven directly into CCA besides where ZZ ends. You can always double back to ZZ but watch CCA while Zeta is fresh.

Four has the weirder relationship with Kamille that makes the two feel like Newtypes while nobody should be trusting Rosamia. It’s insane they had Cinderella Four and decided “But what if we could make this less interesting.” Jerid will never be forgiven for his crimes to writing.

I really do love the setting here so much. There’s more than just knights in plate mail & mages in robes. Even just the environs are completely not FE. I’m so glad they’re branching out from just Western Europe as a primary setting.

Resident moody White Boy snagged and the main character (?) with his ostrich & bonus chariot pic. Chariots in FE has been a pipe dream for years I can’t believe IS innovated for it.

Katz honestly feels partly like he was the main character of a different show. If there was no Kamille it’d be easy to believe you’d follow someone from 0079 to see them grow into a powerful Newtype so when Katz tries to be Amuro everyone groans at him. It’s a neat lens to look at Gundam protags.

You’ll see it more in Zeta but the way relationships are represented it really does feel like Char and Amuro’s is the one most driven by passion for eachother. I don’t want to spoil things, but you’ll want to remember how intimate the moments between Amuro and Char are.

The intro having that really intricate explosion with the Zeta emerging is such a flex, Zeta really loved not nearly getting cancelled.

I have to respect Tsurumaki for watching 0079, seeing how quickly Char kinda forms a bond with this 35 year old man, comes back 40ish years later and says “Yeah that was gay, send it” and makes Challia Bull the best character in that show. The middle aged yaoi renaissance has never been stronger.
