This new FE mobile game is confoundingly bad, it's not something I can just write off. Social deduction game that can be outstatted, auto moving & attacking with abilities, a fucking auction house, only paid elements being leveling & the battlepass. Outside of the character art this game isn't real.

Forgot to post this but on Sunday I hit Masters in GBVSR with Eustace finally, they weren't lying Masters really is cooked if they let guys like me in there. Win rate posted as well which is somewhat deceiving because I fucked around a lot in A1 and S5 to get here.

Was talking on Eustace Cord yesterday & wanted to post this CH 2H simple side swap that someone didn’t realize you could do. Should work at most heights besides really low AAs. It’s only +29 on recovery since it isn’t a HKD, but that’s enough time to do 623U or meaty 66M. #gbvsr #gbvsr_eu

Found this game Passant on a whim browsing Steam & more people have gotta try this game. Chess Balatro is the kind of combo that I can 100% get behind & the upgrades/new pieces all give you a lot of weird headroom on top of normal chess strategy. Demo Link:

Completed another #fireemblem romhack, this time it's Dream of 5! I had to play this after the project got resurrected considering it was up there with TLP as one of the big early hacks in the romhacking sphere & overall it seems to hold up. Very little gimmicks, rooted in classic map & unit design.

Frosty Faustings was crazy good this year. 1-2 in Under Night & 0-2 in Granblue. Cow gapped me with Yuzu & I mental boomed myself in Granblue, shows I need to compete more and get better at adaptation. Feel like I could’ve gone farther & more than likely will try to next year.

Was chatting on the community Discord & we found some tech from the top Eustace that I wanted to adapt. Basic idea is any launcher ends in 2H—>623H & you can autotime a c.L then mix however you like as they’re recovering. Really nifty stuff, here’s one iteration I labbed out.

Recently completed the Fire Emblem Romhack Crowns & Thrones & it’s absolutely worth a playthrough. Really solid gameplay design with fine tuned generics & static lords alongside a story that is really concise compared to a lot of its peers. Very different experience that grabs a lot from other SRPGs

Insane decision by our mayor to let the 76ers build a stadium in Chinatown. There’s still hundreds of other issues to solve, but keeping a billionaire’s team in Philly instead of letting him run to Camden is #1 it seems. Hoping this gets walked back soon.

Beat Godhand, genuinely one of the best games of all time & I genuinely mean it. It's in a space of its own in terms of personal skill. People compare it to Dark Souls, but Dark Souls doesn't actively taunt you for losing. This game wants to win & you're wrestling against it. Beautifully designed.

Beat Godhand, genuinely one of the best games of all time & I genuinely mean it. It's in a space of its own in terms of personal skill. People compare it to Dark Souls, but Dark Souls doesn't actively taunt you for losing. This game wants to win & you're wrestling against it. Beautifully designed.
Nearing the end of my first Godhand run and it’s finally clicking. Every action is precise yet there’s a lot of improv & fluidity. It plays like a fighting game sometimes managing oki & cancelling moves while also just being so different. I understand the cult around this game now, it’s near perfect

Finally playing Godhand & I’m impressed at how little sexuality is in this game. Despite Olivia crawling around with her ass in the camera, enemy goons being barely dressed, and Shannon existing there is no actual sexual desire in any character. It’s impressive how Gene is distanced from sex 24/7.

More people need to play SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions. This is a real fuckers RPG, even beyond the classic SaGa formation stuff & wide roster the side stories are completely asinine. Leonard going on a journey to feed an apple tree demon blood so he can feed the local sheep is so asinine I love it.
