Friend of mine has been first time playing Radiant Dawn recently and listened to our advice to use Beastfoe Rolf so I made this for her after seeing like 20 feral ones explode.

You should! I know I said skip ZZ for now, but it’s well worth it despite the first 15ish slapstick episodes. Its highs match Zeta imo and its lows are not “Misogyny’s Strongest Soldiers”. The girls are also out in full force with iconic looks. It’s a weird show but well rounded.

I really do love the setting here so much. There’s more than just knights in plate mail & mages in robes. Even just the environs are completely not FE. I’m so glad they’re branching out from just Western Europe as a primary setting.

Resident moody White Boy snagged and the main character (?) with his ostrich & bonus chariot pic. Chariots in FE has been a pipe dream for years I can’t believe IS innovated for it.

This has to be one of my favorite episodes just for the shot composition which is just extremely good for being a serialized television show in the late 70s. The way Amuro's salute divides his mother & himself after Bright's call for him is just a really nice touch.

It’s all in the kinda desaturated & muted color palette. Even compared to its neighbor FE7 its colors are bolder & brighter even within the same class & colors. It’s something the in game portraits have as well, was more toned down color palette compared to 7’s bright colors & 6’s desaturated look.

Forgot to post this but on Sunday I hit Masters in GBVSR with Eustace finally, they weren't lying Masters really is cooked if they let guys like me in there. Win rate posted as well which is somewhat deceiving because I fucked around a lot in A1 and S5 to get here.

Another SRPG that is pure classic anime in look is Langrisser. Posting the box art for 4, but they all have that classic look to them thanks to Urushihara’s style. Definitely worth checking out.

Was talking on Eustace Cord yesterday & wanted to post this CH 2H simple side swap that someone didn’t realize you could do. Should work at most heights besides really low AAs. It’s only +29 on recovery since it isn’t a HKD, but that’s enough time to do 623U or meaty 66M. #gbvsr #gbvsr_eu

No idea if you're willing to work with the Kaga Sagas, but I always loved Lianka's design from Vestaria Saga & she's certainly a princess considering how much she gets kidnapped to try and force her into marriage for political gain.

Was chatting on the community Discord & we found some tech from the top Eustace that I wanted to adapt. Basic idea is any launcher ends in 2H—>623H & you can autotime a c.L then mix however you like as they’re recovering. Really nifty stuff, here’s one iteration I labbed out.

A friend informed me that the Fire Emblem subreddit is doing an elimination game of FE games and this list baffles me. How are SD, NM, Engage, and Awakening all out before SoV? The SoV circlejerk is crazy sometimes & im impressed at how divorced it is from Gaiden when it’s the same gameplay.

Anyway to avoid just posting about FE I adore the new 2D Zelda bringing in a lot of classic designs. They have Pig Ganon & then the Old/New Zora next to eachother. These little guys are my shining light, I love the little freak creatures. 2D Zelda is back baby.

Don’t forgot half of Archanea’s best parts like Marth’s confidence, Caeda’s manipulating side, Cain’s Survivor’s Guilt, and lines like the ones below are mostly just from 4C’s localization. I’m sad the English version of Archanea isn’t canon because I love this version of the cast so much.
