My father passed away a few days ago and now I'm feeling numb, probably because up until today I was too busy helping my family take care of some things and didn't have time to think of anything else.

OK, it's not really that bad, but COVID-19 does have some really weird symptoms. Having been vaccinated a few times has likely eased my symptoms a lot. In fact, I thought I was well earlier today, but then felt bad after I went out.
