I don't reuse the old adhesive though. I just buy a new cover that already has new adhesive. I've already had to replace the battery in my very old Samsung Galaxy S8 twice. I can't afford to buy a new phone.

I know you have another phone on its way to you now, but perhaps you may want to try your hand at repairing the old one or fun. I've found that repairing a phone that has glass covers are easy enough to fix myself. I use a hair dryer to heat the rear cover's adhesive and to open it up and reseal it.

Anyone who has grown up with computers (of all kinds, including phones) may never know just how relaxing life can be without such gadgets. Many such people feel anxiety if they don't remain constantly connected to their friends and other misc. online activities. It's sad what we've become.

Wouldn't it be funny (and sad) if they were to revisit the older subseries so they can justify reissuing old toys because they want to save money by not making new toy molds for a while? 😂

Nice! I like the tricked out Camaro and the other white car that I can't figure out the make and model of. It resembles a Ford, but I'm not sure. Still, I wouldn't mind taking it out for a spin on a long and winding road.

Nice! I like the tricked out Camaro and the other white car that I can't figure out the make and model of. It resembles a Ford, but I'm not sure. Still, I wouldn't mind taking it out for a spin on a long and winding road.

Even here in the USA, even we don't know what Grimace is supposed to be. He's always just looked like a weird blob to me.

It sounds like your old phone may need to have its battery removed for a little while and then reconnected, although if the problem happened once then it will likely happen again.
Are you able to connect it to a computer and backup any data to it, or is it now an expensive paperweight?

I always found "that other" meaning of the word to be odd. As far as I know, it used to just mean to make someone or something, such as a pet, look nicer and that's how I use it.

What a beautiful area! The transmission towers are a bit of a distraction. It's too bad they can't be painted green to make them less obvious, but there's a reason why they need to be painted red and white. It's so aircraft pilots can see them more easily. It's still a very nice view.

Huh, apparently the game is still on at the time of typing this (10:30pm), so I'll have to "babysit" my DVR to be sure it actually captures the show when it finally comes on. Hopefully they will still air it in its entirety.

Where I live, they're delaying the showing until 12:37am tonight due to a basketball game, so there may still be hope for some people who aren't aware that they may still be able to watch it.

Eh, I'm going to bed now because I have to get up early. I need to drive my mom to visit my dad's grave. Other family members will also be going, but the Buick is the only vehicle my mom can get into and out of the easiest. She's elderly and frail. TTYL

Cool! I still love mine, although it's been sitting outside of the garage since May, when my parents gave me their always garage kept 2005 Buick Le Sabre. There isn't room in the garage for both cars. The Buick is a nicer car, so I keep it garaged.
